About This Event

In May 2017, eight community leaders from Denver and Aurora traveled to Birmingham, England in the United Kingdom to participate in an exchange program sponsored by the U.S. Embassy in London. They spent a week learning from their British counterparts' experiences in promoting tolerance and preventing radicalization in their community. In July 2017, eight participants from Birmingham will visit their counterparts in Denver and Aurora to observe first hand how they are addressing these topics.

Join us for a panel featuring representatives from the U.S. and U.K. delegations to learn more about this unique exchange program! The panelists will share their experiences and best practices in countering violent extremism in the U.S. and the U.K.
